Meet the Artist
-
I’ve had a passion for drawing and painting animals for as long as I can remember. In elementary school, while other kids filled their backpacks with textbooks, mine were packed with encyclopedias about animals, dinosaurs, and nature.
I grew up on the outskirts of a small Texas town, surrounded by animals, which shaped not only my childhood but the way I see and connect with the world today.
In 2016, I moved to San Antonio in search of new opportunities and experiences. Life took me down different paths, but art was always something I came back to.
In May 2025, after being let go from my three year position at a local museum—just after welcoming my newborn—I made the decision to fully pursue my dream of becoming a full-time artist. What started as a lifelong passion became something I could no longer put on hold.
Today, my work is inspired by the animals, nature, and quiet moments that have always grounded me.

I use art to celebrate animals and nature because they bring curiosity and joy into everyday life. My work is inspired by the natural world and the sense of wonder it creates. Through nature-inspired scenes, I stay loyal to the subjects I love, paint honestly by capturing the light and color, and remain authentic by drawing what naturally captures my attention. My Mission is to bring awareness to natural scenes and animals so that people feel calm, inspired, and more connected in their daily lives. This is the foundation of my art.
