"Pivot the mission, but never quit the vision." — Unknown

Sometimes unexpected things happen. A job you held for years suddenly decides to dissolve your position to make way for new hires. Same tasks, different title. You have a choice in that moment: to object, quietly fade away, or pivot.

I chose to pivot.

As a mother of two, including a newborn, staying home became my reality. But instead of sitting around, I chose to put my extra time into researching what was needed to start a business. I watched countless YouTube videos from my favorite artists like Kayla Carlile and looked to local artists in my area like Jaz from Fearless Paints for guidance about taking risks and starting a career in art.

In October 2025, I bought my first domain where I posted my originals and created an Etsy page where I sold my prints and stickers.

In the Spring of 2026, I entered into juried art competitions like 13th Animal Juried Art Competition by Teravarna. I placed as a finalist on all 3 of my works submitted.

In May 2026, I officially launched my YouTube channel featuring my painting process and gained my first 2 subscribers.

These early wins are just the beginning. I plan on refining my art, sharpening my skills, and continuing the mission of bringing nature into sophisticated spaces through personable, vibrant, and beautiful art.
